UIn this final episode with my conversations with progressive California CD41 candidate Shonique Willimas. She discusses her reasons to run, encounters she has faced, her plans for change, why she believes a revamping of the Democratic party is needed, and who inspired her. 

In this episode Shonique shares with me how a night at a casino that was to be a celebration of a friend's birthday. Turned into a night from hell. One last beating that she endured from her long-time abuser and the racial injustice she received from the local Sheriff's Dept. that has a long history of racism towards Black Women of their community and communities that surround them. 

No matter what situation is at hand. If there is a negative issue that needs addressed or that we are faced with, the far right Maga world blames Joe Biden for it. No matter if it was before, during, or after his time in office. In their eyes, it's Joes fault. Never their own. 
I am not saying that Joe did not make any mistakes, he most certainly made his fair share of them. But high gas prices were not because of anything that he did. 

For the first time with my podcast, I invited a guest to have a conversation with me. I could not have been  more honored than for that first guest to be Shonique Williams. Democratic Candidate for CD41 in California. Her story is one of hardship and triumph. I will be sharing her story over a series of pods. Because her entire story needs to be shared and told. 
We couldn't be more different as far as people go. Our race, our age, our backgrounds, our locations, the list is endless. But one thing I have discovered through creating a friendship with Shonique. Although we are very different, we are very much the same. 
And as you will learn. Shonique was built for this!

I would never make light of the events that are the Epstein Files. I cannot wrap my head around the fact that sick people like this exist in our world and that one of them is the leader of our country.  I will never understand why this has lingered for so long with absolutely no accountability or justice being served. It's disgusting beyond words. I know I speak for many of us when I say there are no words that exist, that could be said to the victims, that could ease the devastating pain they have endured for so long. The world has you in their thoughts. But I refuse to believe that the beginning of a possible WWIII is all done to distract the attention away from the. If that truly is the case, like so many believe. We are further gone as a country than any of us ever realized. 

I explore the dangers of Christian Nationalism and its presence not only in our country but within our military. I give you my thoughts on a recent story that went viral that supposedly exposed some of our, military leaders telling subordinates that the war in Iran was a fulfillment of the Biblical prophecy of Armageddon
